    Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

    Dedicated to crafting strategic, creative and polished events, David’s core focus is delivering high calibre and seamless events designed to excite, inspire and connect. Over more than a decade, David has become an instrumental figure in developing events that have quickly become state-wide recognised successes. David doesn’t take client relationships lightly and believes a satisfied customer should be the greatest focus of any business.

  • Jason Masters

    Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer

    Born and raised in the Pilbara, Jason is a proud Kuruma and Yindjibarndi man. Holding a Bachelor of Applied Science, Jason is an experienced Community Management and Development practitioner with a strong background in Aboriginal communities and organisational compliance.

    Having successfully managed a trustee company for 5+ years, Jason was tasked with ensuring proper and responsible administration, investment, allocation and custody of funds sourced from native title agreements for the benefit of the Aboriginal community. Jason’s ability to relate to clients, offer operations oversight and project manage large-scale events has allowed Wrapped Creations to become a go-to events management company for many regional communities.

  • Ben Blakeman

    General Manager

    Having created magic alongside some of the best and brightest professionals in Australia’s live entertainment industry, Ben has been integral to the successful delivery of over 150 of WA’s most exciting and memorable events, earning himself a reputation as one of the state's event superstars.

    With a background in event construction and with extensive expertise in site management, operations and logistics, crowd management, safety and emergency response, Ben’s appointment as Wrapped Creations General Manager in 2023 is a welcomed move. Ben is a motivator and strategic thinker. These skills, in combination with his technical expertise, exceptional work ethic, problem-solving abilities and commitment to growth, make him a valuable team asset.

  • Lisa Usher

    People & Culture Manager

    With more than 5 years tenure at Wrapped Creations with a background in leading both Karratha and Perth metro operations, Lisa has successfully executed improvement initiatives in all areas of human resources such as performance and change management, recruitment and organisational development.

    Lisa believes in the significance of building strong relationships at all levels of the business, valuing diversity, equity and inclusion while fostering a positive organisational culture.

    Lisa’s passion for mentorship draws on more than a decade of event management experience across a multitude of event types including corporate and non for profit events, to implement strong training and development programs to empower team members for personal and professional growth.

    Operations Manager

    Holly has 10+ years experience in the events and hospitality industry. She is driven to create perfect outcomes for clients and prides herself on her execution. She has many positive relationships with clients, colleagues and consumers alike.

    Her motivation, attention to detail and adaptability have led to her becoming part of Wrapped Creations leadership team in 2023. It is these attributes along with her problem-solving abilities and drive for success that make her a valuable member of the Wrapped team.

    Operations Manager

    Heidi has over 10 years’ experience in International Hotel and Events as well as owning her own Destination Wedding organisation and is a qualified life coach. Her passion lies in leading a strong, dedicated and committed team that achieves results. Heidi displays a fierce work ethic with a nurturing personality.

    Residing in Tom Price for the past 3.5 years she has a strong connection to the Pilbara community and brings a vibrant professional energy to the Wrapped team.

    Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

    Bethany provides critical support to the Chief Executive Officer, David Yakas, as well as the Wrapped Creations executive team. She brings an energetic and personable approach to her role and works well under pressure with her calm nature. She holds herself to the highest of standards and prides herself on her organisation, reliability and dedication.

    Bethany brings a wealth of experience in both administrative and executive roles, her well-refined and diversified skillset has established her as an integral member of the executive team.

Armed with a degree in Marketing and Event Management, she has successfully planned and managed events across Australia.     Event Coordinator

    With extensive business administration experience, Kirst thrives on strong communication and local knowledge. She is deeply engaged in the local Pilbara community, and takes great pride in cultivating enduring relationships with all her clients.

    Having been a part of the Wrapped Creations team for a few years now, we can confidently say she has a natural passion for creating memories across all events and a very outgoing, approachable, high-energy personality.

    Event Officer

    Lisa has successfully orchestrated a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate functions, conferences and show productions, ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed and reflects the client's vision. With a unique blend of creativity, organisational skills, and a deep understanding of movement and performance, she brings a fresh and dynamic approach to event planning.

    In addition to her event experience, Lisa brings a rich background as a professional dancer, having performed on prestigious stages and cruise ships around the world.

    Event Officer

    Grace is a seasoned professional, with eight years’ experience with some of the biggest music and cultural festivals. She is adept at building major events, overseeing front-of-house operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Her on the spot problem-solving skills and passion elevate events to new heights.

    Grace is passionate about customer service, excelling in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees. Her approachable demeanor, and her willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, makes her a massive powerhouse for our events team.

  • Hayden Watts

    Event Officer

    With a passion for events sparked by his school-based work placement at Wrapped Creations, Hayden moved on to earn his Diploma in Event Management in order to bring his event ideas to life.

    His previous employment within Pilbara local government has assisted in developing his skills to successfully prepare and present engaging community events, with his experience ranging from corporate events to multi day festivals and fairs.

  • Karen Cunningham

    Design Manager

    Karen has more than 30 years of design experience in the corporate and mining sectors, applying these skills to a wide range of marketing materials. She focuses on building brands from the ground up, and also has extensive experience in the design of strategic communications for ASX listed companies.

    Karen is a whizz at managing complex project schedules and brings copywriting and editing expertise to the Wrapped team, allowing us to assist our clients with well-defined and thoughtful content.

    Design Coordinator

    Sonia has served as the Director of Swoon Design Studio for more than 18 years over her 25+ year career. She has worked alongside many of Australia’s leading advertising creatives, art directors and marketing specialists, playing an integral role in the creation of a number of award-winning campaign materials.

    Sonia’s expertise has contributed to the development of some of Perth’s most high-profile corporations, showcasing her ability to seamlessly blend creativity and professionalism.
